In this lesson, last one from the Pages module, we’ll cover all the different ways you can move pages around in Notion.
Moving pages is great whenever you want to modify your overall Notion structure — whenever a page changes context and should be moved to a different top-level page, or you just need to do some reorganization within Notion, moving pages is the easiest way to do it.

As previously explained in the Sidebar lesson, you can simply drag and move around any page on your sidebar and either move it to a different sidebar section or move it to a different top-level page.
Simply select and drag over a page on the Sidebar, and try to drop it over a different page. Whenever that destination page will be highlighted in blue, that means that your selected page will get moved into that selected page as a sub-page.
You can also expand the top level page by clicking on the little chevron next to its title, and then drop your selected page below that expanded page and that will achieve the same effect.

Another way of moving pages in your Notion Workspace is using the Move To feature. This is great for moving pages that do not appear on your sidebar or are deeply buried within your Notion structure.
On any Notion page, you can always go to the top-right three-dots menu, and in that menu you’ll see a “Move To” option. Clicking on it will open a dialogue that will let you choose which top-level page to move your current page to. You can also choose a sidebar section as well as a whole different workspace if you’d like.

You can also access the Move To menu by clicking the six dots next to any block, not just a page. Yes, we can also move all other blocks in this way. Similarly, you can select a bunch of pages or blocks at once, click on the six dots to the left, and move all of them at once to your destination page or Sidebar section.
For Keyboard nerds, you can access the Move To menu on any page by hitting Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P.
This is all the info about moving pages we need for now.
Now, it’s time to conclude our module about pages and move on to blocks. We’ll of course come back to pages as a concept, and explore more of the functionality of pages in later modules. Hopefully, by this point, you have a good idea of what a Notion page is, how they work and how to modify them.
