Integrate Custom Databases into Your Template

Once you duplicate Creator’s Companion into your workspace, your copy is completely yours and you can change it however you like.

This includes integrating custom databases you’ve made yourself, or that you obtained from other Notion templates, deeply into Creator’s Companion.

In this tutorial video, I’ll show you how to do just that. Together, we’ll take a custom-made database, relate it to the Content database in Creator’s Companion, and finally integrate a filtered view of that custom database in the Video database template, which exists in the Content database.

We’ll be editing database templates in this video. You’ll find a more general and thorough reference on editing database templates in the Ultimate Brain docs. Everything there applies to Creator’s Companion as well.

Note: Consider backing up your template before following this tutorial.
