The Channels database stores all of your “Channels” – which is a catch-all term for any place where you’re publishing lots of content that you want to plan and track in Creator’s Companion.
Channels can include YouTube channels, blogs, podcasts, social media profiles, email newsletters, etc. They can also be used to track and group lessons in an online course, chapters in a book, songs in an abum, and more! Creator’s Companion comes set up for course-planning by default, but you can easily add database templates and Channel Types for books, albums, etc.
At its core, the Channels database allows you to create “groups” for projects in the Content database. This makes it extremely flexible – each Channel is a container.
Below, you’ll find a reference guide for all database templates and properties in the Channels database. Properties are in alphabetical order.
